Villa Casa Colina – Villa rental rates

From May to October rentals normally start on a Saturday but we accept mid-week bookings outside this period . Minimum booking period is normally one week but we can be fexible in low season.   Please also see the notes below the table.  

Is there a separate charge for cleaning and laundry?

A ten-minute drive will bring you to Guardamar, with its 11 kilometres of golden sandy beach and sand dunes, awarded the European blue flag for cleanliness. Choose the beaches by the promenade or the more deserted dunes to the north (Dunas de Guardamar) or south (Campomar beach), whichever is your preference.

Guardamar town has numerous shops, street cafés, bars and restaurants and, on Wednesdays, a bustling street market. The Reina Sofia park has pine groves, lakes and wildlife, and the Alfonso XIII park has particularly interesting vegetation.

How do I make an enquiry or a booking?

Are electricity and water included?

Yes, rental rates include both water and electricity.

What is the charge for an additional guest?

The above rates are based on 4 guests.  We make no additional charge for a child in a cot but for an extra person using either our sofa bed or single folding bed we make a nominal additional charge of €50 per week plus €15 for laundry.

Is wi-fi available?

We have installed wireless broadband for the use of our guests.  Rather that increasing the rental price for everyone, wi-fi is available for those who want it at a small supplement of €15.

Do we need to bring our own beach towels?

To save your having to pack large towels, we have purchased beach towels which you can borrow at a nominal charge of €5 Euros per towel per week to cover the washing.

When do I pay?

Once you have confirmed that you would like to book, a non-refundable deposit of €150 is required to secure your booking. – Payment instructions will be sent following receipt of your booking request.

The balance is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, together with the security deposit of €150 which will be refunded within one week of your return, subject to return of keys and there being no damage, excess cleaning or unacceptably high usage of electricity reported by our manager.

How do I pay?

Most guests now pay by telephone or internet banking but we also accept payment by cheque.  We can accommodate guests wishing to pay by credit card via PayPal’s secure system, but will have to pass on the commission we are charged, which we trust you will agree is not unreasonable. You do not need a PayPal account in order to use this system and we will send details on request.

Will I receive directions?

Detailed directions from the airport will be sent on receipt of your final payment and on arrival you will be met by our housekeeper who will show you around and give you the keys.

What are the arrival and departure times?

The normal time for availability of the villa is 15.00 on the day of arrival and you would need to vacate by 11.00 on the day of departure. This is, of course, in order to allow time for the villa to be thoroughly cleaned and the linen and towels changed, but flexibility may be possible depending on the timings of the rentals preceding and following yours.

Are there any rules?

To date we have been lucky that our guests have all respected that this is our home in the sun and have treated the villa with respect and it has not therefore proved necessary to make many rules.  The villa is in a quiet neighbourhood and we ask you to have consideration for our neighbours regarding noise levels.  Please do not to take the bath towels to the pool or beach so you need to bring these with you (or you can borrow beach towels from us as above). No pets are allowed and we must also ask that you please respect our villa and that we have a strictly no smoking policy indoors.

What is the security deposit for?

We feel apologetic about asking for this security deposit but it is common practice, and the only protection we have against other owners’ experiences of mis-treatment of their properties, or air-conditioning being left on all day when the villa is empty. To date we have always been able to refund this deposit in full, and we trust that this will continue to be the case.  Small breakages can’t be helped and we make no deduction for these but would be grateful if you would tell our housekeeper so the item can be replaced and not inconvenience subsequent guests.

Do you offer long-term rentals?

Sorry, but we only accept short-term holiday rentals.

Other notes

Parties arriving with more than the number of guests booked will not be allowed access to the villa.

Sorry but we cannot accept groups where all members are under 25.
