Villa Casa Colina - Car Hire information etc

(1) Car Hire - For a useful explanation of fuel policies, please see the Drivalia link below
(1a) Car Hire Brokers often offer good deals - Look out for fuel full/full, second driver free etc
Bravo Car hire - Compare deals from the various hire companies

Auto Europe - Usually one of the cheapest

Do You Spain - Their website claims "Always cheaper"
(1b) or Rent direct from a Spanish company -
Drivalia -
This company provides the clearest explanation of their fuel policies and extra charges that we have ever seen, even stating how much they charge for a full tank on a Full/Empty basis which is normally left as a nasty surprise when you collect the car.
Aquacar -
Aquacar is a Spanish company which operates throughout the Costa Blanca and has the benefit of an office in Rojales, within easy walking distance from our villa.  Cars can be supplied at the airport or from Rojales. When you book enter (0123) after your surname to be granted a Full/Full fuel policy and free child seats.

(2) Save money on insurance to cover Car Hire Excess + Wheels and Tyres

Car rental agreements include all insurances required by law but you may be liable for excesses and for any damage to
wheels, tryes, glass and for loss of keys.

Car hire insurances policies provide peace of mind and avoid pressure at the airport to buy over-priced cover which may not be as good.

(3) Buy a road map of the Costa Blanca before you go
In order to make the most of the area we recommend that you buy a good road map before you go. This map in the Michelin "Zoom" series is the best we have found and is available from Amazon cheaper than in the bookshops and post-free. (Click on the map image for more details).
